Fully remanufactured powerhead for Mercury and Mariner three cylinder 40/50/55/60hp engines. Fits engines manufactured from 1993 to 2007. Includes powerhead gasket installation set and break-in instructions. Carries a full one year warranty.

1993 Model Year: Serial numbers 0D181999 and back are no longer available.

TOP NOTCH!!! Had to make numerous calls to discuss the details with WADE. What a guy! PATIENT PLUS. Satisfactorily answered all my many questions. Had short block delivered to Dayton,Ohio and then brought to Ontario, Canada by friend. Now making arrangements to have installed. Will post installation at later date when complete.

Purchase, delivery,and return all went very well. They did not return a full core charge or provide documentation as to how damaged the core was. But that was implied on all literature during purchase.

Problem fixed: Seized power head

I didn’t notice the impellar wasnt pumping water through engine and the temperature sensor wasn’t working so I overheated engine and one cylinder sleeve failed. I limped to launch by trolling motor. Our local marinas were busy winterizing and wouldn’t do the repair till winter but there was still time for fall fishing. So I tackled the job myself and it only took a long afternoon thanks to Crowley’s availability and shipping. I still got a couple more days on the water didn’t do well fishing but an eagle catching one right in front of us was worth it.
