Disassemble & inspect gearbox components, order required parts & tooling for rebuild, reassemble ensuring correct gear contact & backlash.

Problem fixed: None - preventative maintenance

I am rebuilding the water pump and also replacing the shift seal while the lower unit is open. First time doing this. Your engine diagrams annotated with part numbers was very helpful. I also watched a bunch of youtube videos.

Problem fixed: Replaced entire mid section

I had to replace the entire swivel housing due to corrosion and steering seizing up, I purchased a used midsection, but purchased all of my gaskets and other parts from Crowley, it was a timely delivery to Charleston, SC even from half way across the country, they were easy to deal with and their website is very user friendly.
