Problem fixed: was not pumping gas
Ordered a rebuilt kit for the VRO. Disassembly is a simple operation of removing the screws with a hex driver, laying the removed pieces in an inline form on a white cloth. Clean the plastic case with soap and water dry thoroughly. Install the new components after oiling them with any suitable oil. install all the springs etc just as they came out. Tighten the screws in a criss cross pattern, but to not over tighten. reconnect the hoses as they came off, using ratchet style clamps, and you should be good to go.
