Problem fixed: Motor would stall every 30-60 s unless gas bulb was squeezed.

Figured it was the fuel pump so that is what I ordered from Crowley, along with new gas line ties. It is one of the easiest repairs. Took off the cover, unscrewed the bolts, removed the ties for the gas lines, and pulled them off, pulled off the old pump, scraped off the old gasket and its residue and then put on the new pump with gasket, reattached the two gas lines (one of them had to be cut shorter because the new pump has slightly different alignments) with ties, screwed the bolts back on and that was it. Motor runs fine now with no stalling. The old pump looked indeed to be in bad shape. I bought this motor used last year.

Great experience. I didn't think I could find the parts I needed for my 77 evinrude. Crowley marine had them and shipped them out quickly. Were back on the water.

It was very good. Through no fault of Crowley Marine my package containing a fuel pump was stolen from the porch of my house, so they sent me another fuel pump at a quarter the original price. (I happily received it and it works perfectly).

Problem fixed: Engine ran perfectly at full throttle but stalled every 100 yards at trolling speed.

I put fresh gas and fresh plugs in it. Changed the gas line from the tank. Called a boat mechanic and was told it sounds like a weak diaphragm in the pump. Did a search online using my serial number off the engine Crowley marine popped up with the year of my engine Searched there website for the pump I needed and there site had everything for my engine. Ordered a pump from Crowley marine. Installed pump Test ran it for two days and no issues since.

Every thing I bought impeller kit, drive and prop seals fit perfectly. Fuel pump fit, but needed new fuel lines (should have come with new fuel pump) Good place to get replacement parts!!!

Problem fixed: Water mixing in lower unit. Also engine stalling out after prime

Replaced seals in lower unit, had to polish drive shaft before installing new impeller and seals. R & R'd fuel pump and new fuel line to carburetor

Excellent; made 3 calls for carb kit, fuel pump and stop switch. I was on the phone less than one minute each time I called in had the part numbers to order. parts were delivered in a timely manner and was just like the original parts I took out.

Problem fixed: Motor does not run full bore under power.

After going through carburetor, thought that the problem was the fuel pump. Ordered a fuel pump kit, when it arrived the size was different than the one on the motor. (smaller gas outlet to engine) We went through the existing fuel pump kit, finding no problems but thought it may have been with the gasket. So we repaired the existing gasket. Took engine out for test, it ran perfectly for about 15 minutes. Now it is back to running at half throttle most of the time but doesn't die due to lack of fuel. So it is improved but not "right".
