Mercury 50 hp 2 stroke

I purchased an OEM trigger (fires each of the 3 - CDM s. Arrived on time. Installed the next day and my 2005 Merc 50 is back running on all 3 cylinders at full power! I'm an at-home amateur mechanic.

Problem fixed: #3 cylinder not firing

Follow either the CDI diagnostics tests for your particular Mercury motor using CDM's. Or a Mercury service manual instructions for troubleshooting a CDM is not firing---purchase an inexpensive in-line spark tester to determine which if any of the 3 cylinders are not firing.
