Problem fixed: Rough idle

It was time to rebuild the carbs. Just a quick cleaning and a check of the Reed valves. Reassembled with all original parts, just new gaskets.

Problem fixed: Carburetor rebuild and reed valve check.

Rebuilding the carbs and checked the reed valves and they were good but ripped the gasket. Replaced gasket and boats is running great!

Stripe and rebuild engine

Parts were correct I removed fuel injector body because of a injector that was leaking and shutting down two cyls I had a couple of injectors used but they both had there on problems when ohms test failed so I have on order with you a new injector which you are waiting for from Mercury to send me I have shoped with you before and always been more than satisfied with your prompt delivery and correct parts thanka

Problem fixed: Replaced Reeds

I replaced the reeds in my Mercury Sportjet 175. Remove the air box Remove the fuel lines and associated hoses Remove the 3 carburetor Remove the intake plate Remove the reed cages Replace the reeds in the reed cages - Use Loctite on screws and do not over torque! Reassemble in reverse order
