Condenser 8M6001249

Condenser 8M6001249 is specifically designed for your MerCruiser engine made by Ford or General Motors having a Prestolite conventional ignition system. Condensers for other engines will not function the same or as efficiently and could damage other components. A condenser prevents arc damage across the ignition points and prolongs the discharge of electricity through the coil. No aftermarket company comes close to the level of research and design as Quicksilver; buying Quicksilver is buying performance, protection and peace of mind. - The condenser is a critical component for conventional spark ignition systems - Use only the condenser for your engine, they are not all the same - Replace your points when you replace your condenser to ensure proper ignition and efficient engine performance
