Problem fixed: Needed to check out lower unit and impeller.

Needed to check out the lower unit and ended up needing to replace the impeller so I ordered the entire replacement kit. Good thing i did as there were several gaskets and the impeller housing that were showing wear needed to be replaced as well.

1995 Mercury 40HP

Problem fixed: Carburetor leaking gas and stalling out at high speed

I took the carburetor off, took everything apart, soaked the carbs in cleaning solution. Rinsed them off dried with compressed air. Use the parts that was supplied with the repair kits. Reinstalled back on motor. Ran like new.

Problem fixed: Wouldn't idle and had a miss

Pulled carb apart cleaned out well. Reassembled with new gaskets and diaphragms and Venturi Boat runs great now even for being 40 years old
