The head on the fuel sensor is plastic, the old one just broke off and I had to meticulously chisel out the plastic that was threaded inside the unit until it loosened and I screwed out the remaining piece of plastic. The new one went in without issue...Success!!!

Problem fixed: Fuel leaking out of motor area, high idle.
The epoxy that is used in the water/fuel sensor part seems to last about 5 years or so. I've had two of these go out on me . The boat will still run but you will notice fuel behind the motor and a high idle. Very easy to replace need to use a 5/8 box end wrench and disconnect the wire clip and install new sensor part.

Problem fixed: Some slight missing on idling and revving of engine at start up.
Squeezed fuel bulb and noticed fuel leak out of water sensor in vapor separator. Unplugged and screwed sensor, screwed new sensor back in. Ran perfect!
