Problem fixed: Locking mechanism broken
The locking mechanism for the remote control had some broken parts when I bought this motor after multiple other owners. This motor was 21 years old, so parts tend to break. Stuff was hold together with lockwire. To have the ease of adjusting the cables this repair was required to prevent cutting the lockwire and put it all back together. Due to the broken part the whole bracket was required to come of, but after that with the right tools it was done. Repair time is including searching for the right tools :-) Sometimes as a DIY repair, you have to look in the shed whats is available.
