Problem fixed: Tilt relay was defective

I simply removed the top cover and followed the wires from the trim/tilt buttons on the motor until I found the up/down relays. I removed the down relay (lower relay) and installed the new relay. Tested and replaced the cover. Very simple job and I am not at all mechanically inclined. No tools were needed, simply pull the relay out gently and insert the new one and that’s it!

Problem fixed: TRIM MOTOR WOULD GO DOWN BUT NOT UP

DID THE NORMAL WITH RELAYS DID;NT WORK.JUMP THE TRIM MOTOR,OUTBOARD WENT UP TRIM MOTOR IS GOOD.STARTED TO TRACE WIRES AND FOUND OUT THERES TWO PLUGS FOR THE GREEN AND BLUE WIRES.ONE CAME OFF THE TRIM MOTOR TO THE PORT SIDE OF THE OUTBOARD THEN THERE WAS AN EXTENTION PLUG WITH THE TWO WIRES RUNNING TO THE PDB AND PLUGED IN THERE.UNPLUGED THE PORT SIDE AND PLUG IT BACK IN FIXED.CLEANED PLUG AND PUT DIELECTRIC GREASE ALL DONE.

Problem fixed: Engine raised all the way up and would not trim down

Replace the tilt and trim relays on motor replaced water screen on lower unit of motor less than 30 minutes on both repairs
