Problem fixed: Waterpump kit
Not relevant to my recent purchase which is for a 90hp FICHT Evinrude, which is up for a waterpump kit replacement as part of maintenance. But, I have done the job on both Johnson 90 and 115hp, and the job is fairly easy. Just be thourough, and careful. Remember the small clip at the top of the motor that has to be loosened and flipped to the side, if not you will break it

Problem fixed: Loose trim tab
I recently purchased a trim tab that was missing on a 1992 Johnson 60 hp outboard motor when I bought the boat. When I installed it there was some play left to right and up and down as it did not fit snugly and I wasn't sure if that was appropriate. I contacted Crowley Marine via email with the problem and they replied quickly. The response that I received was that there probably was some sort of obstruction which prevented the screw from tightening. They were correct!!!! Thanks, Crowley for the prompt response!
