removed nut from shifter linkage, removed bolt from shifter handle. replaced handle, replaced bolt in handle, replaced nut on linkage .

Problem fixed: Broken motor mount and shift lever

Literally unscrewed the bolts, removed the broken parts and replaced them with the new ones, and screwed everything back in.

Broken gear shift lever on Johnson 30

Excellent!! Ordered on Wednesday and arrived on the following Tuesday which is not bad considering it had to come from Colorado USA to a sleepy hamlet on the south coast of NSW Australia with a weekend intervening. Good marks for Crowley and DHL.
