I ordered 3 parts for my boat engine. One part they sent me was the wrong part. Understandable mistake. Its part # was 1 digit different than the one I ordered. Called Customer Support and explained the problem and that I had a fishing trip planned in 2 days. They sent the right part next day delivery and....they gave me a refund on the part. This place has the best Customer Service I've seen in a very long time. Thank you.

Problem fixed: Missing. Bogging down.

The plunger in the primer solenoid had melted (probably due to ethanol) and was allowing fuel to be injected directly into cylinders. Take the primer solenoid apart and just replace the plunger, spring, and gasket. Replace primer solenoid and she ran like a champ.

Problem fixed: Heavy white smoke, couldn't keep running at idle, ran ok at speed if you could get in gear and going.

A knowledgeable friend advised me that the symptoms indicate fuel flooding. Ran ok at speed because we added air. Turns out the primer solenoid was by-passing fuel when not energized. Disassembly revealed the fuel primer solenoid metal plunger, plunger spring and the white plastic valve stem had become one piece. I suspect that ethanol in the fuel melted the valve stem which bonded the three parts together. Easy fix once I knew what the problem was.

Great source for outboard parts!
