Problem fixed: Primer fuel pump housing was broken.

The plastic housing was broken,and it is impossible to get this part here in Germany. Crowley Marine had it ,and i got it delivered in less than a week! I repaired the primer pump and my "OLD LADY" is running great again. Crowley Marine is my saver!

The entire experience was excellent.

Problem fixed: MOTOR WOULD NOT START, DEFECTIVE PRIMER ASSEMBLY

Motor would not start. The blue barbed fitting on the primer assembly broke off. when I would attempt to prime the motor, fuel would squirt into the lower motor housing rather than feed the carburetor behind the butterfly plate. The repair was extremely easy. I removed both the inlet hose from the carb feeding the primer assembly and the much smaller diameter discharges hose that runs to the carb. I also replaced the tubing because the old tubing looked brittle and dry rotted. The motor startee right up with the new primer assembly.
