As the situation around the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop our highest priority is the health and welfare of our employees, our families and our customers.
Additionally we are closely following developments to assess how COVID-19 might impact our customers and the ability of boaters to participate in on-water activities.
Here are a few of the precautions we are taking across our company.
For the time being we are not allowing customers access to our warehouse for in-store pickup, however we will ship all orders for free within the state of Colorado.
We are fortunate that we are a technology driven company and as a result more than 80% of our workforce already works remotely, in some capacity. It was easy to make the switch from remote office to work-from-home and all employees that can do so are already working from home.
The employees that cannot work from home (in our fulfillment center) are taking all precautions necessary to ensure a safe and secure work environment. We have adjusted working schedules and working space so that no more than two people are working together at any given time. Additionally we clean and sanitize all work surfaces twice daily.
We are aware that some manufacturers (currently Mercury Marine) are restricting manufacturing of new engines and parts. Rest assured we have a large inventory of OEM parts in stock and have enough supplies to carry us through until manufacturing resumes.
The Great Outdoors remains open for business, and boating is a social distancing-friendly activity for many. There are however a few temporary lake closures in effect, due to shutdowns of national and federal parks. A up to date list of all affected lakes can be found here: State by State Lake Status.
