Lighter, high-performance o fshore boats, such as open fshing-style hulls, can also bene ft from the XL4’s excellent acceleration, quick planing, and maximum grip of the water. For these craft, Yamaha introduces the new Performance XL4 – HP series of propellers. O fering many of the same performance characteristics of their XL4 bretheren, their advanced blade geometry is speci fcally designed for Yamaha V8 applications where higher speeds are enabled by a speci fc boat’s hull design. Featuring a highly-polished stainless steel fnish, they will be manufactured to Yamaha’s stringent standards in 22 and24” pitch, right- and left-hand rotation. Please note these particular propellers will only ft Yamaha’s line of V8 outboards, using a pressed-in style rubber hub only.

They’re manufactured from the highest-quality stainless steel, for maximum quality and durability. Polished to a lustrous shine, they will be available in 15” and 17” pitches and in both right and left-hand rotation. Please note these particular propellers will only ft Yamaha’s line of V8 outboards, using a pressed-in style rubber hub only

Like its XL4-HP 24 brother, it’s designed for (relatively) lighter, high-performance multi-engine offshore boats that often carry heavier loads, such as open fishing-style hulls. Featuring massive thrust to plane and additional ‘grip’ compared to nearly all three-bladed propellers, the new Performance XL4-HP 22 propeller offers outstanding acceleration and quick planing, while helping to maintain plane at lower speeds and to eliminate ventilation, particularly in turns and following seas. They’re highly polished, and available in both right- and left-hand rotation.
