Trim Switch Conversion Kit

Give this sheet to the owner. Advise the owner of any special operation or
maintenance information contained in the instructions.
This kit adds a trim switch to the handle of a non-trim surface mount remote control. This kit is compatible with Modular Wiring System and connects directly to a 1996 (ED) and newer motor. There is an adapter cable to connect to 1995 (EO) and earlier wiring harnesses.
Remove the handle from the control. For this procedure and the following procedures, see the Service Manual.
Remove the neutral lock slide (A).
Remove the handle cover (B), if on your control.
Remove the decal (C) from the handle.
Push the switch wires down in cover (1) next to the screw boss, and secure the cover to the handle with screws (2). Reinstall handle.
If this kit is being used with a 1995 (EO) or earlier wiring harness, connect adapter (3) to the switch cable.
Connect trim switch to Modular Wiring or wiring harness. Test switch
