This repair kit is for 9.9 thru 155 model Evinrude® and Johnson® outboard models thru 1989 models.
Disconnect portable fuel tank. Tank pressure could cause fuel spill and fire hazard.

Discard original gasket (A) located under cap. Do not remove or discard similar gasket under vacuum fitting (B), if one is on your motor.

Save filter screen (D) and screw (E) from old cap and install on new cap (1). Install o-rings (2) and (3) on new cap.
Reassemble pump and squeeze primer bulb to check for leaks.
