My experience was good. Was able to navigate the site and find the desired part. I was looking at electrical parts, contactors . Your pictures did not clearly show the contractors diagram,or the pin or stabs configuration. These things would be very helpful.

Problem fixed: Electric tilt inoperable in the up direction

Launched my Sun Tracker pontoon boat on the lake only to discover the tilt switch operated only in the down position. After doing a little research I discovered the likely culprit was a relay located on the motor. There is one for up and another for down (the part number is identical for both). Seeing how affordable the relay was I ordered two of them so that I could replace both at the same time. On my motor, the repair took about 10 minutes including cowl removal and replacement. If your electric tilt (trim) goes out on you, save yourself some time and money and order a couple relays from Crowley and do it yourself.

120 force / mercury.

Very good help was knowledgeable and product shipped as promised and good shipping updates.

Problem fixed: Bad trim relay wouldn't let me rasie my motor up or down.

After coming in from a day of fishing and playing , as I attempted to trim the motor up it did nothing. I tested all four trim stations and nothing. Right then I was pretty sure it was a trim relay from past experiences with outboards. This is not always the problem for lots of outboards. I carefully put my boat on the trailer and eased up the boat ramp as my nephew watched to make sure I didn't damage my skeg. This doesn't always work out for a lot of boaters. For some odd reason the release screw that when turned will relieve pressure off the hydraulics so you can raise or lower the engine when a trim problem occurs would not budge. I'll have to look into that. As I got on the pavement out of the way of other boaters coming or going, I switched relays back and forth to get my motor up and then down so I could get back home safely. Got home and ordered a new trim relay off the net from Crowley marine. The new relay arrived as specified by Crowley. I took the cover off. Unhooked the battery to avoid contact with live wires while working , I disconnected wiring from the celenoid to be able to get to the trim relays . I unhooked the main power line by unscrewing a collar by hand that connects the male and female ends of the main power line which is attached through a hole cut on the Solenoid plate. this gave me even more room to get to the relays. I unscrewed the bolts holding the trim relays to the engine so I could move them more easily. I purchased only one relay. Old mechanic buddy of mine always said if it ain't broke don't fix it. As it turned out one of the relays worked the day I had the problem so I knew I didn't need but one. There are three relays that sit just under the Solenoid plate., I started on the one to the far right. Not knowing which relay was bad , the mercury racing Gods were with me that day because the one on the right out of the three was the one that was bad. I took a medium sized straight screw driver and gently pushed in on the barb that held the upper relay housing to the lower part of the relay housing. With some upper pressure applied I used the straight screw driver to pry upwards and gently wiggled the upper relay housing off. It was easy but sort of tricky, just be careful. I took the new relay and lined it up with the lower relay housing and gently pushed it into place until I saw and heard the barb snap into place. Nothing to it. I hooked all the wiring back up first and reconnected the battery cables . Now the moment of truth. I pushed the trim button on the side of the engine and I instantly heard that sweet humming sound of the relay trimming the motor up and then held the button in the lowering position trimming the motor down. Success. I unhooked the battery and all the wiring again , bolted the relays back into place. Hooked up all the wiring to the solenoid , I threaded the main power line back through the solenoid plate where the hole is cut for it ,plugged the main power line back in, twisted what I call a safety collar that holds the male and female part of the main power line together. Line everything up just right when hooking the main power line back up or you could possibly damage the male and female connectors. I made sure everything I unhooked was hooked back up. I reconnected the battery cables ,tested the trim relays one more time , cranked the engine for just a second to make sure of a good connection , turned the engine off. Put the cover back on the engine and threw a blanket over my baby. If your not even slightly mechanically inclined take your boat and motor to a certified marine engine tech for repairs and remember Crowley Marine has all the marine engine parts you need for you outboard. Play it safe. Always make sure you and your passengers are wearing their PFD's , we want you to all come home safely.

Problem fixed: The tilt and trim will not raise the motor.

Replaced the trim/tilt unit. The new one I purchased uses relays and the old one used solenoids. I removed the solenoids and the old wire harness. Installed the relays and the new wire harness which all came with the new trim unit. Installed the new trim unit. Everything works get.

Good source of genuine parts @ a fair price & quickly shipped & received. And, they provided good, clear information on the identity of the current replacement parts.

Problem fixed: motor would not go up when either the trim switch on the mortor, or the trim switch on the trottle control, was pushed; however it would go down.

Motor would trim down but not up. After checking all electrical connections to up-down switch on motor & cleaning all such connectors, I "hit" what I thought were the up & down relays and with hitting one of them the motor went up; promptly stopped working again after switch released. Crowley had original replacement parts, & "knew" which was the proper part for my 10 year old motor; I bought a replacement for each relay even though one still worked; replaced both in less than 10 minutes, and now seems to work fine. Other parts sellers provided unclear info as to the make/source of their parts, as to what was included, and to the identity of the parts; not Crowley. A good experience--I'll buy from them again.

Excellent: I would definitely buy from this store again.
