Very good I found that the follow up when I called with questions was helpful.

Problem fixed: Rusted exhaust msnifolds.

I have a 1988 OMC Cobra 4.3 V6. These engines originally used a one piece manifold/riser unit. I liked these because there was no riser gasket to leak and they were simple to install. I am in a salt water area and we have to change exhaust manifolds every 5/7 years or else you can get water in a cyl and when in salt water this is really bad. The problem was the original OMC one piece units are NLA. I did find out that GLM was selling a conversion kit using a Volvo style center riser set up with a 4" to 3.5" 90* adsptor. I could have used the GLM kit but I have heard of fitment issues with their exhaust manifolds. So what I wound up doing was replicating that kit but using Barr manifolds and risers and OE Volvo parts for the 90* exhaust adapter and hoses. It all fit perfect. A little pricey but in salt water it does not pay to scrimp on the exhaust system.

Excellent, I am a satisfied customer for many years!

Problem fixed: Normal maintenance of the inboard/outboard system

After about 10 years it was time to replace the driveshaft/u joint bellows and the exhaust bellows. This is not a hard job but you need to disconnect the shift cable on the engine bracket so that you can pull back the pivot housing to get good access to the gimble housing where the bellows are installed. The Cobra bellows install is the same as a Volvo SX, easier than a Mercruiser.
