Problem fixed: Oil cap on engine tank was cracked causing oil leak

Oil tank cap containing low level sensor was cracked. As this tank is pressurized oil began to leak. Replacement OEM part was ordered from Crowley Marine and was replaced in 30 minutes putting me right back out on the water. Simple job as the replacement part already had connectors making the job just a matter of disconnecting the old cap and replacing with new

mercury 150 hp. oil cap replacement.

Everything was great with prompt shipping to the exact part requested. I will buy from Crowley again. Thanks!

Problem fixed: oil res would not stay full causing intermittent alarm chirping

Ordered new gasket and oil cap for engine mounted 2 stroke oil resivior. Easily swapped the old with the new. I haven't been able to op check the boat to see if it solved the problem but I am sure it did. Thanks Crowely Marine

Problem fixed: Major oil leak inside engine cowling

As I was returning to the boat ramp during a Bass tournament I noticed an excessive amount of 50-1 oil seeping out of my engine cowling. After loading my bass boat on the trailer the oil was dripping everywhere. Major oil leak somewhere. Main oil tank was only 30% full and internal oil tank mounted on the front of the engine was empty. Oil was sprayed heavily on the inside of the engine cowling. Upon inspection for the oil leak I found a crack in the internal oil tank cap. I researched the part number for the oil cap assembly and found it at Crowley Marine for $68.00. I called their service department and ordered the cap over the phone. Received the cap in 7 days after order placement. Removed and replaced cap in less than 5 minutes. All is well...No more leaks. Lets go fishing!

replaced fuel baffle in gas tank, replaced oil cap and crankcase check valve.
