IS THIS UNIT A ADD ON POWER TRIM UNIT , I HAVE A 1984 40 HP EVINRUDE MO. E40ELCR , OR DO I NEED OTHER COMPONITS TO MAKE FIT AND WORK ?

That part number would not work for you application. I am not showing a unit that would bolt on. You may have to try an aftermarket setup.

Excellent service received part in Australia with in 2 weeks and that's after spending 2 days in customs and during a pandemic. If I need any other parts for the Johnson and can't source them in Australia I know I can count on Crowleymarine keep up the good work.

Problem fixed: Tilt and trim unit wasn’t lifting motor
Replaced complete hydraulic unit The hardest part was getting the pins out of the unit
