Problem fixed: Low speed over heating

The old plastic cap was difficult to removed from a 12 yr old engine , the caps were seized and needed to cut them out . This required about 3 hours to complete for a V-6 ETec engine. Installing the new caps and replacing the thermostats (2) was easy.

Problem fixed: thermostat replacement and overheating

plastic nuts, bad design by Evinrude second time had to fracture nuts to remove. 2000 225 Evinrude challenging motor .

Problem fixed: Les aimants du volant moteur son partis en poussière

Le plus dur a été de trouver un arrache volant et la douille correspondante sinon pas de problème particulier, on démonte et on remonte le neuf et c'est reparti .

Problem fixed: water leak under cowl

working on cooling system, needed thermostats and covers. had a water leak under the cowl and caused the spark plugs to rust and the starter to start to drag. Hooked motor up to reverse flush with water hose and the thermostat cap started leaking. Order both since i was there and replaced them
