Problem fixed: Waterpump was bad
First time to replace water pump had it done by mechanic previously. Lead time for marine repair was out 4-6 weeks so I decided to do it myself. Youtube was a great help for tips. Definitely need help handling the lower unit off and on. Easy job to replace the pump and associated parts. One tip in particular if you do it yourself...put the gearbox in reverse when you stab unit back to driveshaft. You can turn prop gently to line up spline. Crowley was fantastic in getting my parts to me.

Over heat buzzer going off and no water coming from cooling holes. Takes longer to get parts then job takes, just bolts.

Problem fixed: Warn water pump impeller
Dropped the lower unit, unbolted the impeller housing, cleaned up the old gasket and put the new parts on in less then 40 minutes. You might need a second set of hands to turn the flywheel to get the drive shaft lined back up.

Problem fixed: Time to change water pump propellor and dry rot on coils and sparkplug wiring
I changed out the water pump propeller and all three coils. Lower unit had issues of wanting to go back in but that's normal when this is something you don't do everyday. The coils were not a prefect match and I had to rewire using old parts to the new coils. All and all boat is back on the water running better then in the last 15 years
