Manifold, Stud And Screw Assembly P/N 982657 Installation Instructions

1. This manifold will require that studs (provided in parts bag) be installed into manifold to proper stud height. Install studs using a stud driver. Apply gasket Sealing Compound (P/N 0317201 to the stud end threads before installation. Be sure stud end thread and manifold hole thread are compatible. See Figure 1 for proper installation height.

2. On 1977 and later models, remove pipe plugs at bottom rear of manifold and replace with drain petcocks from old manifold. Prior to installation, coat threads with Gasoila (P/N 0200763. Tighten petcocks securely.
