EXTENSION SERVICE – 25” Models
Removal
Remove gearcase. Refer to Gearcase Removal on p. 248.
Remove extension.

Remove studs from exhaust housing only if studs are loose.
Installation
If studs are removed, clean threads with cleaning solvent.
Apply Ultra Lock to upper threads of studs. Install studs and tighten to a torque of 10 to 12 ft. lbs. (14.5 to 16.5 N•m). Install extension.
Apply Triple-Guard grease to lower threads of studs.
Install gearcase. Refer to Gearcase Installation on p. 248.
