Shipping took a really long time and when the product arrived there was NO mounting hardware or "cap" for the resovior I ordered... had to salvage old parts to make the new one work....I would advise you to do some research before ordering ..the company was good though.

Awesome site to be able to pick what parts you need. BUT: be aware of the 2-3 weeks for non stock items. If you need your parts in timely manner, order the parts they have in stock and a separate order for the non stock items. I ordered everything at once. After 2 weeks, I needed the lower unit seals, in which they had all those seals in stock. So I contacted them to ship what parts they had, split shipping, no problem, extra $5. Another week went by, surprisingly got all the parts I ordered. Got outboard put back together. Parts were great. So I wondered why they charged me the extra $5 in split shipping. Another week later, in an envelope in my mailbox was the two tiny drain plug gaskets. So they shipped $5 for $2 part that I really didn't need to replace. I could have gotten all these parts cheaper and much quicker if I out sourced everything from everywhere but the site does make it easy to shop with Crowley Marine. If you're not in a rush to get back on the water. I missed the tournament.

Problem fixed: Extensive maintenance
-All lower unit seals: completely drain and flushed lower unit with mineral spirits to remove old gear oil and water. Install all new seals including
the oil plug gaskets. -Entire water pump replacement. -New lower unit bolts: chased threads with WD40 and old bolt that I cut a slit on two sides with a grinder cut off wheel. Anti seize new bolts. -Two new thermostats: removed housings, sanded old housings on flat sander til pitting was gone. Reinstalled housings no thermostats or gasket and flushed with CLR, vinegar and hot water thru top cylinder water ports. Cleaned housing bolt holes and bolts. Install new thermostats and gaskets. Anti seize small bolts. -New NGK spark plugs: removed all plugs, compression test all cylinders, check/ adjust all spark plug gaps to spec. -Carb cleaning: remove all carb bowls, floats, needles and mixture screws "correctly". Spray all orifices with solvent and compressed air. Clean bowls and needles if not replacing. Run motor on water hose: check for water and fuel leaks. Test run out on water: afterwards, remove lower unit drain plug check for water in gear oil.
