Problem fixed: Noticed my skiff leaving an almost undectectable oil sheen while trolling.

I made 2 orders, both weren’t correct. After calling the first time, I was confident I would receive the correct parts. Not so, I was shipped parts that are not even useable! Not to mention having to pay duty and taxes on parts I can’t even use! Never have I ever had a horrible experience like this. Your website is misleading. Parts are not explained properly forcing customers to order parts that come as a package.

I placed an order with Crowley on June 16 for parts on a lower unit repair on an Evinrude motor. On June 19 I received an update on my order.It seemed some parts were out of stock and the entire order would be shipped when they received new inventory, in 3 to 5 days. Ok. Understandable I thought. It happens! After about a month, I began calling to check on my order but they were very difficult to reach. Covid I guessed. Again, it is what it is. Finally I reached them by phone and was told that the parts were two more weeks out. A month or so later, still no parts. Finally I got them on the phone again. Now the parts are another 28 days out. I tried my best to explain to the kid on the phone that I had boat motor parts all over the workbench in my garage and could he just send me the parts he had for me. I think he was a former shoe salesman as he did not know much about boat motors. Finally on August 19 they sent the first email since the initial "We don't have all your parts" email on June 19. The parts are shipped' less of course, the back ordered parts. They were delivered on August 24! But I still could not rebuild the motor as a thrust washer was still not here. On Sept 8, another email. Your remaining "washer" has been shipped. It arrived on Sept 10. It took 3 months to get my order. Which they charged to my card about 20 minutes after I placed the original order. They never once emailed me with an explanation of the problem except the notice in the beginning. "We ain't got all your parts" I am pretty laid back about such things, but my wife is not. She was not able to use the workbench for her projects. My motor is still scattered all over my garage. I hope none of the parts have gone AWOL . Hopefully I can get it back together now. I suppose they buy parts from some manufacturer on Saturn. Or perhaps Uranus. Had they been willing to explain the situation, I would be more understanding. A very bad experience from Crowley Marine!

It’s been just about two months and still haven’t received all my parts. Sent emails regarding the parts and it takes 2 weeks for a reply. They had no problem charging my credit card in one day. The web site said that they had plenty of the parts in stock too. I understand that this is during the Covid time. But ordered a different part from a local dealer and had it in a week. They didn’t even offer a refund???? So here I wait no email regarding the part just a survey on there service. Lol

Waited six months for a part that was listed as available. Numerous emails back and forth. Changing delivery dates. Never updated by Crowley!!! Finally gave up and had the parts they had delivered, cancelling the missing part. I will get my parts elsewhere next time.

I ordered parts online and paid for express shipping. I took my over 1 1/2 months to get my order. Customer service was very unresponsive to emails and no phone calls were being taken. Finally I received my order and I didn’t get everything. I will not buy from Crowley again...

Getting parts is taking forever to get. When parts were ordered website showed that all parts were in stock. Payed for 3 to 5 day shipping. Did not receive parts in that timeframe. Contacted company and they said they were waiting to get one part that they did not have when it said it was in stock. Was never notified that part was not in stock. Poor customer service and lack of communication is very discouraging about repeat purchases.
