This kit contains a higher capacity fuel pump that is necessary when using the AccuMix® oil injection system. This kit is for El (1991) and newer recreational 5 thru 8 model motors.
To the Installer and the Owner INSTALLER: Give these instructions to the owner. OWNER: Keep these installation instructions with your Operator's Manual. They contain part numbers for future service of this product.
Check contents of kit. Read installation instructions completely before starting work.

Loosen fuel tank cap. Disconnect tank hose from motor.
Cut tie straps securing fuel hoses to carburetor (A) and to lower motor cover connector (B).
Remove and discard screws, fuel pump, and hoses. Save pulse gasket (C).
Install inlet hose (1) on lower motor cover fuel fitting (D) and secure with tie strap (2).
Install outlet hose (3) on carburetor (E). Connect hose (3) to fuel pump (4). Secure hose ends with tie straps.
Secure fuel pump and original gasket (A) with screws (5).
Secure inlet hose (1) to inlet cap (B) with tie strap. Tighten knurled screw (C) to secure inlet cap.
Post Installation Test
Connect tank fuel hose to motor. Squeeze primer bulb until a definite resistance is felt. Check pump inlet hose (1) and pump inlet cap (D) for leaks. Check pump outlet hose (3) for leaks. Repair any leaks before using motor.
